  • Step 2: Let’s start at the cruck arch in the northwest corner of the park. A “cruck arch” is made of curved timber pieces leaning into each other. The same wood root gives us the word for “crooked,” meaning bent or twisted.

  • Let’s have a closer look at the incredible sculpture representing a Medieval Woman.
