  Step 1: We’re starting our walk at Blantyre Life in Park Lane. If you fancy a coffee or snack, they have a cafe.

• 

  Step 2: With Blantyre Life behind you, walk down Park Lane. St Joseph’s Primary School is on your right. Follow the road as it bends right.

• 

  Step 3: They’ve got several Sweet Chestnut trees planted along the fence. When we did this walk it was autumn & there were lots of spiky chestnuts.

• 

  Step 4: Walk to the end of the road, towards the red house. Then cross Station Road and turn left.

• 

  Step 5: Soon after, take the path into the park and turn right once you’re in the park.

• Step 6: If you need to take a seat at this stage, there’s a wooden bench just along the path to the left of the entrance.
