Step 1: Starting at New Scotland Yard we will head east towards Tower Bridge.
Step 2: Follow Victoria Embankment, continuing ahead at Embankment underground station.
Step 3: Within the first half mile we will walk past a public toilet.
Step 4: We walk into "dolphin zone". These were the first electric lamps in London and installed in 1878.
Step 5: Ever noticed the benches on the embankment and know why they have camels and sphinxes on them?
Step 6: The River Thames used to be wider. In the 19th century the expanding London population resulted in the sewage system expansion. Due to this the new Embankment was created. This area needed suitable furniture.
