• Step 1: Beat the commute and walk from Southwark or Waterloo East Stations to London Bridge Station.

  Step 2: Wave to Transport for London offices as you saunter on past the Palestra building. Look up and notice the slant on the building?

• Step 3: The top three floors of Palestra are cantilevered out above a glass slab, creating its lopsided look. The building features solar panels and 14 wind turbines on the roof which apparently makes up 4% of its power consumption.

  Step 4: We’re walking up Union Street now. Look out for the London College of Creative Media building. It was designed by Trevor Moriss and...

• Step 5: ...was built in 2017. Did you know that it is known as "The Music Box" because the bricks are in the arrangement of Cream's song "White Room"?! The upper floors are private accommodation. Imagine the views.

• 

  Step 6: If you cross over safely, just under the bridge, you’ll come across Union Yard Arches. There’s a theatre and various cafes and bars inside.
