• 

  Step 1: Start at the View Cafe on Old Edinburgh Road.

• Step 2: Follow Old Edinburgh Road towards Scotmid and turn left at the roundabout.

• 

  Step 3: Keep going straight on Woodhead Crescent until you see the woodland path on your left.

• 

  Step 4: Head left to follow the path into the trees, between the houses just as the road begins begins to the right.

• 

  Step 5: There is a good chance you will hear the birds singing here

• 

  Step 6: Take the first path turning right, it's just before the Thornwood Woods board.
