Step 2: Once onto the river path, take a right towards Tower Bridge and past HMS Belfast.
Step 3: Enjoy the view of tower Bridge. It is very busy here with tourists but this thins out as soon as we pass under the bridge.
Step 4: Walk under Tower Bridge and past the old engine rooms. You can see the chimney next to the bridge which is part of the tour experience.
Step 5: Walk a short way up Shad Thames and turn left at Maggie Blake’s Cause. There aren’t as many tourists here depending on the time of year.
Step 6: We’re now back on the river bank and we get a great view of Tower Bridge without jostling for space.
