  Step 1: Take the Emirates Air-Line. The Air Line crosses the River Thames between Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Dock and takes 10 minutes.

  Step 2: How many famous London landmarks can you see from up here?

  Step 3: The dome has 12 yellow support towers, representing an hour of a clock or a month of the year. Rather apt for Greenwich's 'Mean Time' past.

  Step 4: We popped into The Crystal for a coffee. The Crystal has the world's largest exhibition on the future of cities.

  Step 5: Here you can see planes take off from City airport.

  Step 6: We headed East around the docks and found this interesting hotel!
