  Step 2: …Iron Bridge. The Mill on the Exe is a great riverside spot to start at postcode EX4 3AB.

• Step 3: Get ready to explore green countryside valley parks and the pavements of quiet leafy suburbs. We’ll discover views and locations that are all part of Exeter but which often seem miles from the city.

  Step 4: Start by walking along the pavement with the road to your right back a bit to cross Bonhay Road at the dedicated crossing.

• 

  Step 5: Continue by crossing Exe Street and heading up the right-hand side.

• 

  Step 6: If you’d like, you can stick to the pavement. You can also walk through St Bartholomew’s Cemetery instead.
