  Step 1: Welcome to Mill on the Exe! This route is a lovely stroll along the riverside.

• Step 2: If you’re walking the Green Circle, this route allows you to cut the circle in half.

• Step 3: The Exeter Green Circle is a 12-mile circuit that goes round the whole of Exeter. It’s a lovely walk, and the whole route and smaller segments are available in the app. Mill on the Exe is the start of two Green Circle segments.

• Step 4: This route ends at Riverside Valley Park, another place where two Green Circle segments start. You can walk this whole route as a circular walk from either end, or use it to get between them.

• Step 5: There’s car parking available here. It’s a short walk from city centre and bus stops. The Mill on the Exe is a perfect spot for pre-walk refreshments.

  Step 6: Let’s head out. When you’re ready, walk down Bonhay Road, with the Mill behind you on your right.
