Step 1: There’s a car park at Petts Wood Recreation ground (end of Eynsford Close) and Petts Wood train station is also within walking distance.

Step 2: The recreation ground is popular with dog walkers. Please note that the woodland area can get very muddy in winter or wet weather. You’ve been warned! 😉

Step 3: Keep left to continue on this walk, walk alongside the recreation ground to the woodland entrance.

Step 4: This ancient woodland is a site of special scientific interest.

Step 5: As you enter the woods, take the immediate right hand path.

Step 6: The top end of the recreation ground will be your right.
