Chislehurst Caves & Hawkwood Estate

1. 

   Step 1: The caves are a short walk when you turn left out of Chislehurst Station, or you can drive and park for free here

2. 

   Step 2: Entry is £6 and tours run on the hour. The man-made tunnels cover 22 miles and their creation started in the 13th century

3. 

   Step 3: Over 15000 people lived here during the Second World War, and they’ve also been used as a music venue for David Bowie Jimi Hendrix & more 🎸

4. 

   Step 4: When you’ve reached the main road again, take a right up this hill

5. 

   Step 5: We had lunch at the Imperial Arms which served some top notch pub grub and 🍺 🍷

6. 

   Step 6: Once your bellies are happy, double back on yourself and take a left down Susan Wood (we think she’d do the same 😆)
