Step 1: Start the walk at the London Eye. It is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3 million annual visitors.
Step 2: Arup were the structural engineers for the eye. When it opened in 2000, it was the world’s tallest Ferris wheel at 135 metres tall.
Step 3: Turn right along the Thames. Take the ramp ahead under the bridge and then take the stairs or elevator on your left to cross the bridge.
Step 4: The Golden Jubilee pedestrian bridges opened in 2002. Look out at the lovely view of the Thames as you cross over.
Step 5: The building you see at the far end of the bridge is One Embankment Place, another Arup project constructed in the early 1990’s. It was the UK’s first ‘air-rights’ building.
