  Step 1: From the foot bridge connecting Windsor and Elton follow the signs for the Thames Path on the Windsor side of the river.

• 

  Step 2: Walk out of town along the towpath you’ll soon pass under a train bridge.

• 

  Step 3: When you come to the next bridge, climb up the verge to access the road and cross the river.
