Walk preview

1. 

   Step 1: START at the gate in Hermitage Lane. No parking! Follow track to top of flood defence bank.

2. 

   Step 2: Aim at 10 o'clock from bank and cross ditch at the bridge.

3. 

   Step 3: Keep open space on right and mature trees and thickets on left. Listen and look for bright green parakeets. Keep ditch on left.

4. 

   Step 4: Cross ditch at bridge then aim for the path at 1 o'clock.

5. 

   Step 5: Follow the path cross field until you meet the cycle path. Turn ➡️ Note mistletoe clumps in trees

6. 

   Step 6: Shortly after joining track, look for The Sign on right and follow the path ahead with ditch on right
