  Step 1: Start out at Harrow-on-the-Hill station. Take the South exit and cross the road into the recreation grounds.

• 

  Step 2: Take the path on the right past the cafe.

• 

  Step 3: Then take a left past the basketball hoop.

• 

  Step 4: Take the track to the road, carefully cross over and turn left.

• 

  Step 5: Take a right to enter The Grove Open Space and follow the path up the hill.

• 

  Step 6: This land was once part of the Harrow Manor estate owned by the Archbishop of Canterbury as recorded in the Domesday Book in 1086.
