  • Step 1: Begin at Calver Sough, where you’ll find the Eyre Arms pub, a shop and two cafes. If arriving by car, there is limited on-road parking on Polly Froggatt Lane. Head down the A623 towards Stoney Middleton for a short distance.

  • Step 2: This walk has some very steep sections with narrow paths and unfenced drops. As with all routes, look through the pictures and consider whether this is suitable for you.

  • Look out for a footpath on the left. It follows a line of trees between two fields. The signpost says “Black Harry Gate 2 miles”.
