River Crane Park to Twickenham

• Step 1: The walk starts north of Crane Park & ends at Twickenham Station. We follow the River Crane as it heads towards the Thames. This joins another walk, starting at Heathrow, but overlaps with a different route through Crane Park.

• Step 2: Catch a bus from Kingston, Whitton, Hounslow, Richmond or Twickenham eg 110 or 111. Get off at Ellerman Ave (if on the 111) & walk towards the bridge near the zebra crossing.

• 

  Step 3: This is the view over the bridge crossing the mill stream. Enter the path between this stream and the River Crane.

• 

  Step 4: The path is a mud track and is not as well marked as the path on the opposite bank. It curves right towards the river.

• 

  Step 5: We get a first view of the river bank. Continue left along the path.

• 

  Step 6: The path can be overgrown and narrow in sections. Ideally wear long trousers due to the brambles.
