  Step 1: To get to Pill from Bristol, catch the X4 bus from Bristol Bus Station. You may like to look around Pill village before starting your walk.

• 

  Step 2: You will find the start of the walk near the arches on Watch House Road. There will be no toilets or refreshments until you reach Bristol.

• 

  Step 3: Keep to the path marked by the signs and shown in these photos.

• 

  Step 4: Keep following the signs to get to the River Avon.

• 

  Step 5: Head down Chapel Pill Lane.

• 

  Step 6: This is a private road but you can walk down it to get to the River Avon.
