  Step 1: Welcome to this walk from Parndon Mill to Eastwick. It begins at the junction of Elizabeth Way and Parndon Mill Lane. Now turn left.

• Step 2: The closest public transport to Parndon Mill Lane is Burnt Mill bus stop on Elizabeth Way. Bus number 14 stops here.

  Step 3: On the left is St Mary’s Church. This is a 19th Century church and a Grade II Listed building.

  Step 4: Follow Parndon Mill Lane over the train tracks.

• 

  Step 5: Turn left to follow Parndon Mill Lane slightly downhill.

  Step 6: On the right is your first glimpse of the River Stort Navigation, which is the canalised section of the River Stort.
