  Step 1: Your walk begins here at The Moorhen pub. This is where you’re able to park if you have driven.

• Step 2: Harlow train station is located a five minute walk from the pub. This is also the closest stop for buses.

• 

  Step 3: Now turn left out of the pub car park.

• 

  Step 4: Shortly, on the other side of the road, there will be a wooden sign post & ramp . Cross carefully & follow the path.

• 

  Step 5: The River Stort Navigation was once a thriving commercial route for barges carrying grain to Bishop's Stortford.

• 

  Step 6: Take note of the River Stort signpost. It’s made up of the animals & insects you may encounter on this walk.
