  Step 1: We start this walk in the showground car park, but the Harlow Town Park has many entrances all the way around it.

• Step 2: If you choose to arrive at the start of the walk by public transport, Harlow Town is your closest train station. With multiple buses stopping nearby.

• 

  Step 3: Directly out of the car park, turn right and follow the path.

• 

  Step 4: Turn right again and follow the signs to the Specimen and Water gardens.

• 

  Step 5: The path bends down around the trees. Follow it.

• 

  Step 6: And we get to see the first of the specimen trees.
