  Step 1: Your walk begins here at The Moorhen pub. This is where you’re able to park if you have driven.

• Step 2: Harlow train station is located a five minute walk from the pub. This is also the closest stop for buses.

• 

  Step 3: Now turn left out of the pub car park.

• 

  Step 4: To your left will be Burnt Mill Lock. Each lock gate is unique & can take up to one month to make. But then they do last for 25 years.

• 

  Step 5: Please take the second set of stairs down to the lock & River Stort Navigation.

• 

  Step 6: On your left will the artwork entitled Short Stort Thoughts & was commissioned for the River Stort Sculpture Trail.
