Step 1: Welcome to this guided nature walk with Go Jauntly & Tranquil City created for the Croydon Climate Action’s Great Big Green Week festival.
Step 2: We’ll be hosting free guided walks around Park Hill from 11am to 1pm on Sunday 26th September.
Step 3: Welcome to Park Hill! This 15 acre park is a little slice of nature & tranquility within Croydon.
Step 4: Closing times vary throughout the year. But during the summer the park stays open until 8.30pm.
Step 5: Paths are level throughout the park, with the occasional incline, making this walk suitable for those with wheelchairs or buggies.
Step 6: Park Hill is historic in many ways. It is formed of the remnants of both the Archbishop of Canterbury’s deer park & the former family home of the Horniman family - the founders of the Horniman Museum.
