  Step 1: Welcome to this walk around Bulwell Forest. This jaunt starts here at Bulwell Railway Station.

• Step 2: Trains run to and from Worksop, Mansfield, Sutton Parkway and Nottingham. Bulwell Bus Station, located on Vere Road is a few minutes walk from here.

• Step 3: During the wetter months sections of this walk will become extremely muddy. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear in preparation

• 

  Step 4: Head up Station Road, pass The Horseshoe Inn on the right.

• 

  Step 5: Cross over the River Leen. You will need to turn right onto the footpath once you have crossed. But first a small detour.

• 

  Step 6: This bridge across the River Leen is of medieval origins. For a better look turn left onto the footpath once off the bridge.
