• 

  Step 1: Start from the Tourist Information sign near the Lakeside Cafe, car park and toilets (including an accessible one with Radar key).

• 

  Step 2: Cross over the road that gives access to the lake itself (dropped kerb). Turn right past the picnic tables near the accessible parking bays.

• 

  Step 3: Walk along the level hard-surfaced lakeshore path. There is a metal railing to the right & low wall to the left.

• 

  Step 4: Already there are glorious views over Hollingworth Lake,the largest body of water in Greater Manchester.

• 

  Step 5: After a path joins from the left, continue along the level path, still with a railing to the right.

• 

  Step 6: Carry on past a bridge leading to a water company building on the lake.
