  Step 1: Start the route from Newhey Metrolink Station.

• Step 2: Please note that parts of this walk may be damp, muddy and slippery at any time of year and especially after periods of wet weather. Please bear this in mind when planning your trip.

• 

  Step 3: If you are coming from central Manchester, turn right as you exit the station and make your way over the bridge on Huddersfield Road.

• 

  Step 4: If you are coming from Rochdale, you will also turn right once exiting the station and make your way along Huddersfield Road.

• 

  Step 5: Once you reach Railway Street, turn right.

• 

  Step 6: You will have a field to your left which is surrounding by housing.
