Step 1: The walk starts from Littleborough Station, served by regular trains from Manchester and Rochdale.
Step 2: Please note that parts of this walk may be damp, muddy and slippery at any time of year and especially after periods of wet weather. Please bear this in mind when planning your trip.
Step 3: Exit the Yorkshire-bound platform via the stairs or ramp, heading left towards the bus turning cycle.
Step 4: To avoid blocked paths in early 2024, from step 5, head north into Littleborough. Turn left along Church Road (A58). Take the first right (Hare Hill Road). After the pub, go right along Calderbrook Road. Walk straight ahead from step 39.
Step 5: Turn left along the pavement with the bus turning circle to your right.
Step 6: Turn left to go through a short tunnel under the train lines.
