• 

  Step 1: We start our walk at the entrance to University Hospital Hairmyres and Kilbryde Hospice on Strathtay Avenue.

• 

  Step 2: With the hospice on your right, cross the road.

• 

  Step 3: Turn left into Strathallan Gate.

• 

  Step 4: At the end of the road, turn right onto Strathallan Avenue.

• 

  Step 5: Look out for a tarmac footpath on your left between two houses, and turn onto it.

• 

  Step 6: Follow the path as it passes under some trees and look out for the continuation of the path on the other side of the road.
