• Step 1: Welcome to Chessington North! This family friendly walk begins at the train station and is perfect for a day out. Southwestern Railway trains run between London Waterloo and Chessington South every half hour or so, all day.

• 

  Step 2: Exit out the station and turn right. Walk to the crossing signal up ahead.

• 

  Step 3: Cross using the light, and continue straight up the gentle slope here and past the barriers.

• 

  Step 4: If you’ve timed it right, you might see trains running up close and personal on the other side of the fence. Kids will love it!

• 

  Step 5: Keep going straight ahead. The path bears left here.

• 

  Step 6: Continue ahead towards the recreation ground.
