• Step 1: Welcome to Chessington North! This easy, step-free walk begins at the train station. Southwestern Railway trains run between London Waterloo and Chessington South every half hour or so, all day.

• 

  Step 2: Exit out the station and turn right. Walk to the crossing signal up ahead on Bridge Road.

• 

  Step 3: Cross at the lights and continue straight ahead onto the Trajan footpath, up the gentle slope and past the barriers.

• 

  Step 4: If you’ve timed it right, you might see trains running up close and personal on the other side of the fence. Kids will love it!

• 

  Step 5: Follow the path as it bears left here.

• 

  Step 6: Continue towards the recreation ground.
