Step 1: Welcome to Lower Slaughter! This lovely walk is short and good for young families, as it also has a cafe at the beginning/end.
Step 2: Start at the church in Lower Slaughter and follow the stream right at The Slaughter Inn and pass River Cottage
Step 3: Follow the stream to the Old Mill and water wheel. Go round the mill and past the cafe and shop about 15 meters. The footpath is on the left
Step 4: Go through the footpath gate and back to following the stream towards Upper Slaughter
Step 5: The footpath can get muddy in Winter!
Step 6: Follow through the footpath gates and into an open field. The footpath leads you diagonally across the field...
