  • Step 2: The nearest bus stops are on Church Street or by Lawrence Hill Train Station.

  • From Ducie Road you can see two blue plaques on the side of the settlement buildings, the newest in honour of Hilda Cashmore.

  • The traffic island here has a beautiful planter and a bench, a great place to sit and reflect on the settlement's history.

  • With your back to the settlement, cross Barton Hill Road. Turn right on the other side, keeping Beaufort House to your left as you walk.
