• 

  Step 1: The walk starts at the Wellspring Settlement at the top of Ducie Road. The nearest bus stops are Church St or Lawrence Hill Rail Station.

• 

  Step 2: If you head to the entrance of the settlement, you'll see two blue plaques.

• 

  Step 3: Cross Ducie Road and start to walk down it. At the bottom end of Barton Green, just after the housing, look out for a large vertical pipe.

• 

  Step 4: Pause here and look back across Ducie Road to the former site of the ‘Little Russell’ public house, on the corner of Morton Street.

• 

  Step 5: Continue down Ducie Road across the mosaic bridge and turn left into Lincoln Street.

• 

  Step 6: Walk along Lincoln Street about fifty meters. On your left was the site of Christchurch place of worship.
