Walk preview

1. 

   Step 1: This walk starts at Wellspring settlement on Beam Street. The nearest bus stop is 'Beam Street' on Avondale Road. There are toilets here.

2. 

   Step 2: With your back to the centre, cross the car park lane and head onto the path to the left of it, alongside the apartment block.

3. 

   Step 3: Turn right to head through the yellow gate and across the Barton Hill Urban Park on the tarmac path. Head through the next yellow gate also.

4. 

   Step 4: Continue straight and follow the path as it bears slight left into Strawbridge Road. This is a car parking area so take care.

5. 

   Step 5: Cross Morley Street and pause to admire the World Aids Day mosaic on the other side. Then turn left.

6. 

   Step 6: Turn right by the Wellspring Settlement community centre and walk down Ducie Lane.
