Step 1: Start at Lancaster Gate station and head West.
Step 2: Here is The Swan, said to be where the saying ‘one for the road’ originated. This was the last stop before hanging at the Tyburn Gallows.
Step 3: Follow the route. Up this side road.
Step 4: Check out the beautiful white stucco Victorian townhouses here and keep your eyes peeled for blue plaques.
Step 5: Follow the route admiring the homes and hotels as you go.
