Step 1: Welcome to the Meanwood Valley Urban Farm. It's a working farm, open to the public for visiting the animals, gardens, and woodland. You can buy farm produce from the popular farm shop, too.
Step 2: This walk is a smaller loop along the Meanwood Valley Trail, a seven-mile challenge route from Golden Acre Park into Leeds along a lovely green corridor. The whole route is in the Go Jauntly app, if you're up for it!
Step 3: The walk begins from the car park just past the entrance signs (LS7 2QG). If you’re coming by bus, the 51 and 52 stop just by the Rollette Cafe (LS7 2LP), and you can join the route at Step 9.
Step 4: When you're ready, begin by heading down the car park access road, away from the farm.
Step 5: Just past the sign on your right, turn left down the paved foothpath.
Step 6: We're now descending into the Meanwood Valley, carved by the Meanwood Beck. Take your time on the climb down.
