Step 1: Welcome to this walk round Woodhouse Moor. It starts on Woodhouse Lane, just outside the Library pub (LS2 3AP).
Step 2: The pub is on Woodhouse Lane, served by many frequent buses to and from city centre.
Step 3: Woodhouse Moor sits at the end of the Meanwood Valley Trail, a green corridor walk starting at Golden Acre Park. It's also available on the app, if you're interested.
Step 4: Woodhouse Moor is one of the most popular parks in the city. Let's go check it out! Facing the side of the Library, begin by turning right.
Step 5: Keep going till you see the statue of Queen Victoria on your left. Turn left here.
Step 6: The Queen Victoria Memorial is intricately carved. Feel free to explore all four sides. It was unveiled in 1905 and originally stood at Leeds Town Hall. It was placed in Woodhouse Moor in 1937.
