• Step 1: Welcome to part 1 of a 3 part walk visiting all of the monuments being restored as part of the current National Lottery Heritage Fund project Photos taken at different times of the year.

  Step 2: Gateway to the cemetery. Welcome.

• 

  Step 3: A reminder of the closing time - don't get locked in! And no dogs please, but cyclists very welcome.

• 

  Step 4: Walk straight on, keeping the Lodge due to become our new Visitor Centre - note the blue hoardings - on your right

• 

  Step 5: In Spring we have carpets of wild flowers but at anytime our fabulous GradeII* listed landscape has something to discover and delight.

• 

  Step 6: 4 way junction, take the left hand road, keeping this monument to your right
