  Step 1: Start at the Rookery Cafe

• 

  Step 2: Come out of the gate and turn right.

• 

  Step 3: Head past the car park and take a right. Head down a tarmac path with woodland either side.

• 

  Step 4: Continue down this path until you see a large fallen oak on your right.

• 

  Step 5: Head into the woodland past the fallen tree. Deadwood is a vital habitat for invertebrates and fungi.

• 

  Step 6: You will see a fenced area ahead.
