Step 1: This walk starts at Somerton House Surgery on Priory Close. The nearest bus stop is one minute away - Church Lane is served by route 424.
Step 2: There is an accessible toilet at the surgery that can be used during opening hours.
Step 3: Facing the surgery, turn left to the junction with North Road then turn right along it.
Step 4: Pass a residential home and then, when safe to do so, cross North Road using a drop kerb from the driveway to 71A towards a telegraph post.
Step 5: Turn left onto a tarmac pathway between houses.
Step 6: Emerge onto St Mark's Road and continue straight, heading downhill.
