Step 1: Starting at Kingston Bridge.
Step 2: From the road crossing the bridge take the steps down to the river.
Step 3: Walk through the Canbury Gardens.
Step 4: You’ll pass a few houses and apartment blocks then you’ll be back into parks and common areas as you near Ham.
Step 5: Pass through Teddington Lock where the Thames becomes tidal.
Step 6: On your left will be Eel Pie Island, with Twickenham over the river.
