  Step 1: This walk starts at Stockwood Library on Stockwood Road. There is a bus stop right outside, served by route SB3.

• 

  Step 2: With your back to the library, head right to cross Harden Road and walk along Stockwood Road until you see a side road on the opposite side.

• 

  Step 3: Cross Stockwood when safe to do so and walk along Harrington Road.

• 

  Step 4: As the road bends by the triangular island, continue straight ahead around staggered barriers onto a footpath between two houses.

• 

  Step 5: Exit the hard surfaced path through a metal gate and go straight ahead onto a narrow grassy path through the trees.

• 

  Step 6: Heading downhill, follow the path to the left as you enter Stockwood Open Space Nature Reserve.
