Step 1: Start at the entrance to Hengrove play area. Lots of parking available along with cinema and places to eat in the retail park.
Step 2: If you need to arrive at the start of the walk by public transport you have a few options. Buses 75, 76, 90, 91, 92, 93X, 96 & M1 stop nearby.
Step 3: Hot and cold drinks plus a range of refreshments available.

Step 5: The play area has something for kids of all ages. A sand pit to a dome climbing tower as well as skate park. For kids learning to ride a bike take them to the old airport runway where they can get there balance. 🚲
Step 6: The airport was operational from 1930 to 1957 and was one of a few civil airports in Europe that stayed open during World War II.
