  • Step 2: It was opened in 2021 & was named by residents, in memory of Henry & Joan Berman, who gave decades of service to their community. Joan received an MBE after working with those with learning difficulties for more than 50 years.

  • Here the path splits in two. To the left is Barnes Walk (towards Holt Island) to the right is The Thicket Path. Take the right path.

  • Nobles Field will be to your left. This water meadow is adjacent to the River Great Ouse & is used for the annual St Ives Regatta.

  • Step 5: Here there are various routes you can take. Explore Nobles Field to the left & take a stroll & discover Berman Park in more detail. Alternatively follow this route as it takes you along The Thicket Path.

  • Here this part of the path is hard surfaced & tree-lined, with plenty of benches to rest if needed to.
