  • Welcome to Priory Park! It’s 80 acres of 18th century parkland with mature woodland & open spaces.

  • Step 2: There is free parking at Priory Park for around 40 cars. There are football pitches, basketball courts, a zip line & two large playgrounds. There are no toilets at the park.

  • Step 3: To begin this walk, head towards the playground in the distance to you left.

  • The park contains mature woodland of native species including chestnut, plane & lime. 🌳

  • Step 6: In the 1700’s the parkland was used for farming. There were gamekeepers’ thatched cottages here, as well as Priory Hill House which was demolished in the 1960’s.
