  • Step 2: The Great Whyte is one of the widest streets in the region. Why? It was originally a stream called the Bury Brook, which used to join the old course of the River Nene.

  • Continue along Great Whythe & cross New Road.

    Step 3: Continue along Great Whythe & cross New Road.

  • Step 4: Continue until you reach the High Street. Then turn left.

  • You will then need to turn right following the public footpath sign.

  • There is a small kerb to continue following the path. It’s a little narrow along here & could be overgrown during the summer. Turn right.
