  Step 1: Welcome to Golden Acre Park! A lovely park north of Leeds, there's something here for everyone.

• Step 2: This walk begins in the Golden Acre Car Park (LS16 9JY). The X84 bus to Ilkey from Leeds City Centre stops just outside the car park, too.

• Step 3: Golden Acre Park is the start of the Meanwood Valley Trail, which follows a 'green artery' along the Meanwood Beck into Leeds. The longer trail is available in the app if you're interested. This a short loop.

• 

  Step 4: Let's start. Go to the far end of the car park, towards the underpass under Otley Road.

• 

  Step 5: Veer left, under the road and through the tunnel.

• 

  Step 6: This is the best way to get to the park from the car park, instead of braving a crossing of Otley Road.
