  Step 1: This walk celebrates resident Robert Painton. He's taken people on this walk since 2010, as requested by the Three Rivers Rail Partnership.

  Step 3: Start at Swaythling train station, an accessible station run by South West Trains & looked after by Three Rivers Community Rail Partnership.

• 

  Step 4: It has a small car park and covered cycle parking.

• 

  Step 5: Turn left when you come out of the station onto Wessex Lane. You'll see Bluestar bus stop and a pub in the distance.

• 

  Step 6: Bluestar buses go to the city centre and in the opposite direction towards Southampton Airport and beyond.
