  Step 1: Start this walk at Swaythling station. Turn left out of the station.

• 

  Step 2: Continue down Wessex Lane

• 

  Step 3: The road only has a clear pavement on one side. Cross over to walk along the raised footpath.

• 

  Step 4: Bear right as the road continues passed the university campus.

• 

  Step 5: Cross over Wessex Lane safely and bear left at the end towards Woodmill Lane.

• 

  Step 6: There is a footpath on the right-hand side of the bridge.
