• 

  Step 1: The walk starts at Exeter Energy Recovery Facility. It's next to Marsh Barton Railway station and also close to bus routes Green, B & TG002.

• Step 2: Please note that you shouldn’t enter the Energy Recovery Facility or the Materials Reclamation Facility. The Household Waste Recycling Centre is accessible by vehicle only and not on foot.

• 

  Step 3: From the entrance of Exeter ERF, turn right onto the shared pedestrian and cycle path alongside Clapperbrook Lane East toward the station.

• 

  Step 4: Head over the bridge which crosses the railway tracks and Marsh Barton railway station. The bridge & shared path have a hard, flat surface.

• 

  Step 5: Cross the access road for the station and continue ahead towards the canal.

• 

  Step 6: Upon reaching the canal, turn left to cross the road and head through the striped bollards onto the shared tarmac towpath.
